Perfect organization, enthusiastic stay
We were delighted with our stay in Champagne! The organization was absolutely perfect: our itinerary was clear, the timetable precise, and we were expected at every meeting. All we had to do was let ourselves be carried along as we met at the wineries and restaurants. The welcome at Philippe Martin's was warm and professional, with 3 other French-speaking guests. At Domaine Le Gallais, a private tour for my husband and me, with the adorable Camille and her infectious smile. The restaurant La table Kobus, a marvel! Bistronomic and beautifully presented. Ultra-professional service. The Hotel Jean Moët (NB: the photo with the park and the lion is not correct, the hotel is in the heart of the city, with no garden) was at the top of comfort, with a delicious breakfast and attentive, meticulous service. Finally, the visit to the gigantic Mercier cellars, in a completely different atmosphere, was fascinating, with the story of an innovative communicator. Lunch in a simple but very good restaurant. Vinotrip was able to offer us tours in FRENCH, which is far from common in Champagne, and addresses we might not have chosen ourselves. Also, each time was a new surprise, with an intelligent schedule that gave us time to enjoy, but without prolonged waiting. What a pleasure to go to each appointment without having made any effort to organize it ourselves, and where everything is taken care of in advance! Thank you Vinotrip, our anniversary was a sparkling one!

Champagne Stay
The tour was very well organized, the professionals who received us were very welcoming, the tastings were of high quality and the time left between each visit was sufficient for us not to need to hurry.

Everything was perfect
The Jean Moet hotel was very comfortable, with 5-star service at breakfast. At P.Martin, a warm and smiling welcome took us on a tour of the estate. At Maison Gallais, a masterclass with Marine and her smile (and her skills too) introduced us to a very fine Champagne house with very interesting products. On Sunday at Bistrot le 7, the service was professional and very friendly. The meal was quite fine and the wine list attractive.

Autumn Weekend
Interesting discoveries of two very different producers, one very "authentic" in Hautvillers and the other "modern" J. de Telmont. Very professional comments from both. Hôtel Jean Moët is especially noteworthy for its atmosphere and decor, as well as the quality of its food. Le Clos Saint Georges in Ay is a must for your next visit to the region.

A pleasant jaunt around Epernay
- On Friday morning, we were warmly welcomed at the Maison J. de Telmont in Damery for a visit followed by an interesting cheese and champagne tasting. The champagnes were of high quality and very original. The young lady was very professional and friendly. - The Hotel Jean Moët is very pleasant, with beautiful surroundings, a good breakfast and a warm welcome. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take advantage of all the services (swimming pool, spa...). - The restaurant Les Berceaux offered us a very fine, quality dinner, accompanied by a wide choice of Champagnes. We chose Franck Pascal's Reliance, which was very well suited to the dishes served, a beautiful setting and a visit from the chef at the end of the meal. - The next day, we decided not to go on the bike ride we'd planned a little early, and replaced it with a visit to Hautvillers in very pleasant weather. - Lunch at the Clos Saint Georges in Aÿ was also very good, with fine cuisine and excellent local Lallier champagne. - Finally, the escapade ended with another, simpler visit to a smaller producer, Philippe Martin in Cumières.

WEEKEND IN CHAMPAGNE
We were very well received at DESRUETS and they guided us very well to discover this wonderful village of HAUTVILLIERS. A very cordial and professional welcome at DE TELMONT. Then at MERCIER, we're moving upmarket in terms of company size. We personally extended VINOTRIP's program with a visit to MOET and CHANDON, imperial in terms of quality and service. and finished with a visit to DE CASTELLANE's champagne museum, having climbed the 254 steps of the tower! The accommodation at JEAN MOET's was perfect, and the evening meal at the 'grains d'argent' was well prepared. On Sunday lunchtime, we had difficulty finding the restaurant.

A great discovery!
What a pleasure to be taken by the hand to discover a region! starting with a "short private" at J de Telmont where we were very well received, where he put himself at your level to help you discover and appreciate the work of the Champagne region, that champagne is not just a party and an aperitif, that it can be enjoyed throughout the meal...we were ready for what was to come! In the afternoon, tasting at Barnaut in Bouzy, a magnificent period sign, a small boutique combining champagne decoration and gifts. Not only was the lady in charge very pretty (which didn't spoil anything), but she was also very knowledgeable in her field, and it was without hesitation that she let us taste their entire range. Evening meal at the Michelin-starred Les Berceaux restaurant in Epernay, (impossible to find anything to complain about! service, welcome, taste, copiousness...they're not Michelin-starred for nothing!) Overnight stay on site(very pleasant not to have to take the car back) Right in the center, less quiet but very good and buffet breakfast.the most pleasant of discoveries was the restaurant le vieux puit a Ay,a passionate couple who make you feel it right down to the plate and their extraordinary welcome!

Opinions of Tourangeaux-Angevins on Champagne tasting holidays
We were "superbly" welcomed by the House of TELMONT, with a beautiful visit, explanations of the production of their champagnes and, to finish, a tasting, without moderation, of 3 different quality champagnes, accompanied by a variety of petits fours... In the evening, we stayed in a spacious, quiet B&B at "La Baleinière" in Pargny les reims, where we enjoyed a warm welcome, a good dinner and a hearty, varied breakfast. Lunch the next day in the Halles district of Reims: Le petit Comptoir, a semi-gastro restaurant with an excellent address. Afternoon: a visit to the Edmond BARNAUT estate in BOUZY, with a wide-ranging tasting of several champagnes. What we didn't like was the setting! Continued our 4-day tasting trip in Alsace...
