Your itinerary
- Start your day with a captivating journey into the winemaking traditions of Anjou at the elegant Château de Fesles, nestled in Bellevigne-en-Layon.
- Enjoy a guided walk through the estate’s park and vineyards, where you’ll take in the scenic beauty of the Layon Valley, learn about its exceptional terroirs, and discover the château’s environmentally conscious approach to viticulture. Your visit concludes in one of the château’s charming salons with a guided tasting of wines paired with refined, aged cheeses — a delicious introduction to the region’s flavors.
- Lunch break at a restaurant offering seasonal local products (drinks not included).
- After your lunch, the Fournier Longchamps family estate located in Rochefort sur Loire welcomes you for a tour of the winery accompanied by your guide (facilities - vat room, presses, vines). A commented tasting of their wines (Savennières Roches aux Moines, Coteaux du Layon, Chaume et Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru, Anjou Blanc, Anjou Villages) will conclude your visit.
- You continue your tour of the wine estates in Anjou with a visit to Château Soucherie, a historic wine estate in Anjou producing wines from Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon and Chaume.
- Following your visit, you will be offered a guided tasting of their wines.

Day trip around Angers
Very nice discovery of the estates and vineyards. However, the timing was a little off between the 2 visits in the morning and afternoon, as we spent a little more time than planned at the restaurant. In addition, contrary to what we were told, we paid a surcharge at the restaurant in addition to the drinks, as only tasting menus are offered at weekends, which are quite expensive.
