Your itinerary
- Immerse yourself in the heart of Angevin wine history during your first meeting in the morning in Savennières at the Château de Vaults. You will discover during a guided walk in the park and the vineyard, the landscape of Savennières, the terroirs and the natural approach to the vine growing by the domain. You then take a seat in one of the Château's lounges for a tasting of 5 wines paired with mature cheeses.
- Optional - Lunch at a restaurant serving seasonal local dishes (drinks not included).
- You continue your tour of the wine estates in Anjou with a tour of Château Soucherie, certified in organic farming, which seeks to put biodiversity back at the heart of the vines. The estate seeks through the planting of fields of flowers and cereals, the establishment of beehives and eco-grazing to develop responsible viticulture that respects the environment.
- You then settle into your unusual accommodation carved out of the famous troglodytes for which the region is famous.
- Dinner at the hotel restaurant, in the troglodytes, where you will taste the regional specialty: fouées - Menu with drinks included.
- Night at the hotel in a double room.
- Breakfast at your accommodation.
- Self-guided tour of the Troglo museum in the troglodyte village of Rochemenier where you will discover an underground world.
- You end your getaway in Anjou by exploring the magnificent city of Angers, where the famous medieval castle is located including the largest tapestry in the world, the Apocalypse (entrance not included).

Offered by my colleagues when I retired, we were pleasantly surprised by the Domaines visits, and by the quality of the welcome and presentation. The accommodation is exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome from the owners, in a breathtaking setting, with a beautiful troglodyte room tastefully decorated. The Chenin restaurant, with its refined cuisine and perfect service, is to be recommended.

Great discovery of Savennières wines, with explanations from passionate winegrowers, with a special mention for the Domaine du Closel, whose guided tour develops in detail all the geographical, geological, viticultural and oenological aspects... Superb weekend spent in Anjou, with great tastings and very interesting visits to three very different Domaines. We had an excellent weekend. The visits were very interesting, and to great places. The accommodation was perfect. A very warm welcome from all the staff. Nice villages to visit at the same time (Béhuard, Savennières). You can go without hesitation to discover the chenin blanc and its surroundings.

Very nice service! The hotel is magnificent, the owners very attentive, the hotel restaurant very nice and the tour during dinner very good. The FL estate is very professional and the Closel estate very interesting, instructive and superb. The Chenin restaurant is excellent, with refined cuisine and perfect service. A really good memory of this beautiful region and we'll be back with pleasure!

An excellent stay! The visits to the 3 estates are different and enriching. We met some wonderful people. What can we say about the hotel? Except that it's superb! Everything is done with taste.
