Weekend at Château d'Etoges, in Champagne

Nestled in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, Château d’Étoges is a 17th-century residence built on the remains of a medieval fortress. Listed as a Historic Monument since 1956, it overlooks a 20-hectare park adorned with gardens, terraces, fountains and ponds.

Now transformed into a charming hotel, the château and its Orangerie feature elegant reception rooms, authentic bedrooms furnished with period décor, and a gastronomic restaurant showcasing regional cuisine. The refined wellness area invites you to unwind with a spa, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and organic Bach Flower treatments. A truly elegant escape to experience the art of living in Champagne.

Travellers' review - Château d'Etoges

  • WE romantique Champagne

Day 1: Visit to Maison LE GALLAIS in Boursault. Excellent welcome and we learned a lot about champagne from a small house. Exceptional setting. Then on to Château d'Etoges, where we took our room, a little old-fashioned but comfortable and very quiet. Exceptional setting. Renovated bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. Too bad there's no elevator... Gastronomic dinner in the Orangerie du Château: all very good and very well presented. Starter: exceptional mussel lasagne, main course: poultry supreme: good but meat undercooked and firm. Dessert: pavlova: very good. Continental breakfast: perfect. Plenty of choice and unlimited champagne! Day 2: visit to the Pommery cellars: very, very surprising, even breathtaking! A must-see because it's unimaginable. Tasting . Perfect. Lunch at Le Petit Comptoir in Reims. Very good bistro. Excellent welcome. Stay recommended. Perfect Vinotrip organization.

  • Idyllic weekend

We booked this weekend a little last minute and were more than satisfied. We were able to visit the Domaine de Telmont, have dinner (not to be missed!) and spend the night at the Chateau d'Etoges. A faultless trip! The Vinotrip team personalized our weekend according to our wishes and constraints (right down to the choice of place to pick up our rental car). They didn't hesitate to offer us different options depending on the availability of their partners and adapting to our program on the spot (which we changed several times!).
