  • Great stay

We were simply delighted with our stay, and highly recommend it to wine lovers. The optional workshop is a must for all beginners. Thank you to everyone we met during our stay!

  • Very nice stay

Very nice stay, well organized and very well received by Gilles and Nadège. The cold meal on the 1st evening served in the dining room was top-notch. A small disappointment for lunch at the Lavinal restaurant and dinner on the 2nd evening at the Maison du Douanier restaurant. The visits to the wineries were perfect and very interesting.

  • Excellent stay

Perfectly organized stay. The schedule of visits was very well orchestrated. The room at Château Ormes de Pez was spacious, bright and very pleasant. The building was superb and Gilles was a thoughtful and attentive host. The "plateau repas" in the dining room was just incredible... The highlight of the stay: the assembly workshop at Château Paloumey, instructive, interesting and a very pleasant moment shared with our hosts. I highly recommend this option! To sum up, we were very well received on all our visits. I recommend this fascinating stay.

  • Very faithful to the description: superb

Gilles, the steward of Château Ormes de Pez, gave us a warm welcome, and we moved into a beautifully appointed room (the one in the photo). The residence offers several areas for dining and relaxing, as well as a lovely west-facing terrace and large garden. The tours of Lynch-Bages and Lilian Ladouys were very comprehensive and well commented by experienced, attentive guides. The restaurants, Lavinal and Maison du douanier, were very appropriate. At each stop we were well looked after, and the time to get from one to the other was very generous, allowing for other stops or visits. Nadège and Gilles at Les Ormes de Pez were very helpful. - My favorite part? The evening meal at Les Ormes de Pez, in the dining room and terrace at Lavinal. We loved the tastings too. - If I had to make one suggestion? Have one glass for each wine tasted, to allow return trips (Lynch-Bages), and have the bread from Lavinal for the meal on the 1st evening. - Would you recommend this stay? Yes, absolutely, and we're regular visitors to the Médoc. Very well organized. Thank you, it's relaxing.

  • Vinotrip ORMES DE PEZ

Very nice stay ( 2 nights ) in this estate in the middle of the vineyards ( with the beginning of the grape harvest ) Magnificent welcome (warm and always available steward), well-chosen visits to wineries (as part of Vinotrip). So, very good memories of this stay

  • Beautiful stay in Haut Médoc

Staying at the château "Ormes de Pez", we were made very welcome by the estate steward. The cold evening meal was more than copious and of excellent quality. The room was as large and bright as you'd expect. The next day's tasting at Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac, preceded by a tour of the estate and winery, was masterfully conducted by an exceptional young guide. The ensuing meal at Café Lavinal was of the highest quality. Our second tasting at Château Lilian-Ladouys in St-Estèphe was also of very high quality, with a competent and friendly guide. We were delighted with this stay, which had been offered to us. We highly recommend it.

  • Very nice stay

Lodged in Pauillac instead of St Estèphe. Very good welcome in the B&B. The 3 tours we took were perfectly organized. Our guides were particularly competent and available. We'll remember our stay fondly.

  • Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our weekend in the St Estephe region. The welcome at the Orme de Pez B&B was perfect and the rooms very pleasant. The guides in the chateaux really gave us a good time. The only hitch was the scheduling of the last day's visits, which was not at all logical. In the morning, we visited a place near Bordeaux (about 50 min drive) and in the afternoon, we went back the other way, closer to the B&B and then back to Bordeaux, as it was our last day. We were unable to change the order because of the public holidays preceding our visits. A lot of driving time could have been avoided.

  • Bordeaux vineyard break

A pleasant stay, discovering a magnificent region with a very warm welcome at the properties we visited. For my part, the Rolland de By hotel was closed, so I was offered to stay at the "Ormes de Pez" guest house. A magnificent place, a very pretty house with a lovely welcome, an absolute must. The only downside to this stay was the restaurant reserved for the second evening, more than an hour's drive there and back for a meal that wasn't worth it !!!! There are much nicer restaurants nearby...

  • Rollan de By

Great friendliness at the hotel throughout the stay, and the tour of the winery was of a high technical standard.

  • Pleasant trip

The hotel's decor and facilities are very pleasant, and the staff are very attentive to our requests for information. The wine tastings are well organized. The Lavinal restaurant was just right for us: good atmosphere and good value for money. It would be advisable to plan an additional visit on Day 2.

  • J.F. and MONIQUE

Excellent welcome and quality service at Rollan de By. Good service at Lynch-Bages. Unfriendly welcome at Lavinal and very light meal. Warm welcome and very good food at Saint Seurin. A pleasant stay and generally satisfactory service.

  • Very well organized stay

Perfect welcome at the Hotel Rollan de By. Wine blending workshop at Château Lynch-Bages: super interesting. Meal at "Le Saint Seurin" restaurant worthy of a great chef! The only downside was a less-than-friendly welcome at Café Lavinal, and an average meal.

    Marc L.

  • Pentecost weekend in Bordeaux

We made the most of our Pentecost weekend in Bordeaux. We would like to thank all those who welcomed us, especially at the Hotel Rollan de By where the welcome was remarkable. The restaurants also had very nice and original menus, and the staff were very friendly. Thanks to all the VINOTRIP team

  • Stay in the Médoc

Thank you for organizing this discovery tour of this magnificent region. A super welcome, a discovery of wines, each as magnificent as the next, all accompanied by restaurants well set in the scenery. The hotel Rollan de BY was a good choice, adding a warm welcome to the touristic touch that completes the stay.

  • Great!

A great stay with a really perfect hotel and a very friendly welcome. The same goes for the restaurant. What happiness!
