Olivier Poussier, World Champion Sommelier in 2000, opens the doors of fabulous wine estate in Champagne: exclusive tasting of Champagne and meetings with emblematic figures from this vineyards.
On your arrival to Champagne, you will travel along the hillsides of the Marne valley until you reach Avize, situated at the heart of Côte des Blancs. You will be welcomed at Hotel Les Avisés and to the Domaine Jacques Selosse: a large bourgeois house with just 10 rooms, established in 2011 by Corinne and Anselme Selosse.
On your first day in Champagne, you will have the opportunity to discover a little-known side of the region: winemakers, vineyards, fine traditional wines, etc. which otherwise remain hidden!
You will be shown around by Anselme Selosse himself. He will talk about his vineyard, its origins and its vines with much knowledge and passion. Everything is based upon his philosophy, which he would like to share with you, about the relationship between humankind and nature.
The highlight of the day will be the opportunity to experience his intense, rich and mineral-enriched vintage wines: VO, ingredients, plots, etc.
At the end of the day, you will dine at the Restaurant des Avisés, the hotel’s restaurant, headed by Stéphane Rossillon, where you will be served the region’s wines with a smile and simplicity every evening.

You will spend your morning walking through the vines that hang above the Marne valley, up to Dizy, where you are expected at the Jacquesson estate. You will be shown the work that Jean-Hervé Chiquet and his brother, Laurent, have undertaken for 25 years: revealing the authenticity of the vineyards and, each year, producing just one wine, a vintage 700, using the best of the year’s crop.
Your excursion will be topped off in the best possible way at the Assiette Champenoise, without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the region, which has been awarded 3 Michelin stars in the hands of Arnaud Lallement - optional.
