The History of the House
Founded in 1851 in Saumur, Bouvet Ladubay is one of the oldest producers of Crémant de Loire. Established by Étienne Bouvet, a pioneer in sparkling wine production in Anjou, the house has combined tradition and innovation from the start to craft premium crémants using the traditional method.
Today, Patrice Monmousseau, the third generation leading Bouvet Ladubay, continues to champion the promotion of the estate's sparkling and still wines.

The Wines of Bouvet Ladubay

Located in the heart of the Saumur AOC, in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, Bouvet Ladubay boasts 8 kilometers of cellars carved into tuffeau stone.
Visitors can join guided tours of these historic cellars to learn about the Crémant de Loire production process and the house's rich history.
Crémant, white, and rosé wine tastings provide a full sensory experience. The estate also offers unique cellar tours by bicycle, adding an adventurous twist to the visit.
