Domaine de la Noblaie, a family history since 1952
The family history of Domaine de la Noblaie began in 1952 with the purchase of the land by Jacqueline and Pierre Manzagol. They embarked on a long process of developing the estate, planting, and maintaining the vineyard. In 1953, the vineyard produced 3 barrels on 5 hectares.
From the 1970s, Madeleine assisted her parents Jacqueline and Pierre in the management of the estate. Her husband, François Billard, a professor of oenology, brought technical expertise and innovations to the vineyard and the cellar.
Today, their son Jérôme Billard, a trained oenologist, and his partner Elodie Peyrussie, an agricultural engineer, are the guardians of a 26-hectare vineyard.
