Your itinerary

On the Sauternes Wine Route
  • Your stay in the southern region of Bordeaux begins at Château Suduiraut, Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Enjoy a unique sensory experience as you enjoy a tasting of two vintages from the estate, discovering the magnificent array of aromas that define the great wines of Sauternes.
  • Next, you'll be welcomed at Château Lamothe Despujols another Sauternes Grand Cru Classé, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of this family-owned estate followed by a wine tasting.
  • At the end of the day, you will head to your guesthouse, La Sauternaise,  just a short walk from the Château. You will discover a place where the charm of the old meets modern comfort, right in the heart of the Sauternes vineyard.
  • Dinner at a nearby gourmet restaurant - starter / main course / dessert menu excluding drinks.
  • You will spend the night at La Sauternaise guesthouse.

Graves vineyard tour
  • Breakfast at the guesthouse.
  • Your journey continues at Château Bouscaut, a Grand Cru Classé of Graves. Explore the cellars and vineyard before enjoying a unique tasting experience: you will discover the 2016 (red) and 2018 (white) vintages of the estate, paired with refined chocolates crafted by Bordeaux chocolatier Hasnâa.
  • In the afternoon, you will visit a family-owned estate in Pessac-Léognan, where you’ll meet winemakers who have been passionately cultivating their vineyards for four generations. Enjoy a moment of exchange during a guided tour and wine tasting.

Guest reviews for this experience

  • Vinotrip rating

Excellent organization and messages to organize the visits and tastings, the excellent restaurant and the welcome in the bed and breakfast.

    Philippe M.

  • An excellent selection

The châteaux are different in size and history, offering complementary views of the vineyards. The chosen restaurant is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant and the accommodation is excellent.
