History of the Château Suduiraut

The field is called Castle Suduiraut following the wedding of Nicole Allard with Leonardo Suduiraut in 1580. In 1855, he was ranked Premier Cru Wine Gironde. Vintage Axa became the owner in 1992, and is responsible for enhancing the great expertise in the history and culture of wine. The vineyard covers 92 hectares and the favourite grape variety is Semillon.

Visiting the area is characterized by exploring the vineyards, cellars and a tasting and introduction to the typical aromas of Sauternes.
