  • Magical weekend

I didn't really know what to expect, but the choice of estates and hotels was magnificent. The Domaine de l'Amirault was magical, and we were welcomed by a charming woman who took the time to explain everything to us through a fresco and offered us a tasting of numerous wines. The timing was perfect to allow time to reach the next domaine, which was also confidential and not something too touristy. A much simpler visit, but a very enjoyable tasting. The huge plus was the quality of the accommodation, we were in the Jeanne suite which was immense with an absolutely adorable welcome. The 30s restaurant was exceptionally closed. We went to Jeanne's table, a small drawback. On Sunday morning, the visit to the Pinct cellars was an improbable moment. All in all, a great weekend that we hadn't expected.

  • A pleasant and unexpected stay

We had received a gift voucher from Vinotrip, which we didn't know about. We chose the Chinon region to discover. The organization was smooth and easy. We were met at the Clos des Quartons estate, where we were given a tour with lots of relevant information, followed by a comprehensive tasting of the estate's wines. The second visit was shorter and took place only in the new winery, not in the tuffeau cellars, and was followed by a brief tasting. Accommodation at the Relais Saint Maurice is exceptional, and the meeting with the owner and the quality and diversity of the breakfast alone merit a trip to Chinon. Our dinner at Jeanne's table was delicious, with the 2nd menu still costing €42/person. The visit to the Rabelaisian brotherhood in the tufa stone corridors was very interesting and original, and we really enjoyed it. To sum up, a very good stay, a wonderful gift. Thank you

  • Exceptional stay

The visit to Archambaut in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil was remarkably well led by the person who welcomed us. The comments and tastings at Domaine Noblais were excellent. What can we say about the Relais Saint Maurice? Everything is there (charm, kindness, room like an apartment, gargantuan breakfast...). The 1930s-style dinner was delicious, and the tour of the cellars was very typical, with lots of commentary. A fantastic stay.

  • Ah Chinon!!!

It was more than a discovery, it was a revelation!!! The stay was fantastic, the wine... delicious, and the people we met were Real People. The town of Chinon is beautiful, and the region is extremely rich in history. Le Relais St Maurice is full of charm, and the owner is adorable. The setting and the quality of the dinner are to die for, and the caves painctes are worth the detour, it's very funny. Bravo for this stay.
