Saint Aubin is a charming village located in the heart of an exceptional vineyard. Its slopes adjoin the jewels of the Côte de Beaune: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. Its houses were built around a Carolingian church dating from the 10th century, located a stone's throw from the Castle.
Prosper Maufoux offers at the Château de Saint-Aubin a veritable collection of experiences to share and offers four carefully decorated rooms. They invite you to discover the spirit of a charming guest house on the Côte de Beaune, between contemporary elegance and authentic charm, designer decoration and period furniture.

The wines of Maison Prosper Maufoux
The vines of the Château de Saint-Aubin wine estate are operated by Maison Prosper Maufoux, whose vat room and cellars are located within the building. All the wines produced and tasted at Château de Saint-Aubin bear the signature of this Grande Maison de Bourgogne, founded in 1860, also owned by the Piffaut family.
Prosper Maufoux, historic house in Burgundy, is a jewel of 9 hectares, mainly planted with Chardonnay, which spread around the Château, in the heart of the most prestigious appellations of the Côte de Beaune: Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, Puligny -Montrachet 1er Cru, Meursault 1er Cru, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru or Saint-Aubin 1er Cru.
The estate produces its great wines in a demanding philosophy of sustainable viticulture. The oenological team lets the personality of each “Climat” fully express itself so that the terroir is revealed, simply brought to light by the hand of man. To favor the true expression of the fruit, the vinification of the grapes is gentle and not very interventionist. Aging sublimates and completes the work of making wines, renowned for their elegance, all in freshness, energy and tension.
