Château Siaurac, a unique viticultural and architectural heritage in Lalande de Pomerol

Located on Bordeaux's right bank, within the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, Château Siaurac and Co belonged to the same family from 1832 until its acquisition by the Artemis group in 2014.

At the end of a majestic avenue lined with century-old trees, you’ll see Château Siaurac and its 46-hectare vineyard. The estate stands out for its classical architecture, surrounded by a unique pierced wood, a distinctive feature in the Gironde region.

The property boasts a magnificent 15-hectare landscaped park, designed by Louis Bernard Fischer, the architect behind Bordeaux’s famous public garden. Listed as a Historical Monument in 2014 and designated a “remarkable garden” since 2015, the site is also home to majestic trees, including a 350-year-old holm oak, a Virginia tulip tree, and a 140-year-old sequoia.

  • A magical stay

Hello, just to let you know that the holiday you chose was ...magical :-)) The wineries were superb All the staff at each establishment were incredibly kind and extremely professional. What can I say about our dinners and lunches? Wonderful welcome and exquisite food at the Auberge St Jean, the owner and her chef introduce you to a gastronomy of extreme finesse, the dishes are as beautiful as they are good ... total availability and kindness. At Château Siaurac we were also received like princes, with an excellent market menu and the baron coming into the living room to tell us not to forget to serve us the figs stuffed with foie gras in the fridge, or bringing us a delicious cheese and telling us not to forget to try this one too, it's delicious ... incredible generosity

  • Fabulous stay!

We would really like to thank you for the quality of the stay you organized for us. Le Clos de la Barbanne is a precious address: the welcome, the attentions of our hosts, the advice and information, including on their professions, were all wonderful. The Spa treatments, the visit to Château Siaurac (workshop, cellars and lunch in the park) and, last but not least, the hot-air balloon ride with an attentive and passionate winegrower pilot were rare and precious moments for us. The only fly in the ointment was the meal at Clos Mirande, which took far too long! Many thanks again.

  • Three iconic grape varieties, two exceptional wines

The vineyard produces two exceptional wines from three iconic grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec): Château Siaurac and Plaisir de Siaurac, its second wine.

Deeply committed to nature and the estate’s ecosystem, the vineyard teams focus on maintaining the natural balance of the soils by using cover crops to promote healthy, living soil.

Since 2018, Château Siaurac has met the ISO 14001 standards and holds Level 3 HVE (High Environmental Value) certifications, demonstrating its dedication to sustainable and environmentally respectful viticulture.
