History of the Clos de la Barbanne

Elegant Girondin House surrounded by its own vineyards in the heart of Saint-Emilion, the property has 4 charming suites:
- Paraschiva Suite : 50 m², private terrace, king size bed, italien shower and bath ;
- Amabile Suite : 52 m², private access to the garden level, king size bed, italian shower ;
- Madeleine Suite : 46 m², private access to the garden level, king size bed, italian shower ;
- Suite Elanie.
The hotel is not only popular for its hospitality and the comfort of its rooms but also for Annie's talents when presiding over the kitchen. At the fall of day you can enjoy, in the cozy atmosphere of the gourmet restaurant, a pleasing and elegant cuisine.
Your hosts are also passionate winemakers and dedicate this passion to the creation of a new type of wine "vin d'auteur" or writers wine (a new script is used with each creation) A confidential cuvée of which Laurent will reveal the secrets and Annie will seek to intensify during dinner, harmonizing wine with dishes bearing in mind the specifications of each vintage.

Travellers' review - Clos de la Barbanne

  • Only happiness

    The welcome, the site, the room, the breakfasts (!!!), the dinner, not forgetting the passion for vines and wine....at Le Clos de la Barbanne, everything is perfect. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Dinner at Clos Mirande

  • Fabulous stay!

    We would really like to thank you for the quality of the stay you organized for us. Le Clos de la Barbanne is a precious address: the welcome, the attentions of our hosts, the advice and information, including on their professions, were all wonderful. The Spa treatments, the visit to Château Siaurac (workshop, cellars and lunch in the park) and, last but not least, the hot-air balloon ride with an attentive and passionate winegrower pilot were rare and precious moments for us. The only fly in the ointment was the meal at Clos Mirande, which took far too long! Many thanks again.
